Helm Architecture is a well established London based practice with a broad spectrum of experience and interests. The partnership specialises in theatre, performance, education, arts and museum buildings and has expertise in high end residential work where we are able to broaden our interest in detail and bespoke furniture design.
Current significant projects include Shakespeare North Playhouse, a £20million new build theatre and community/education centre near Liverpool, scheduled for completion in 2021 and the Rose Revealed visitor centre, an interactive archaeological museum and immersive performance venue on the site of Bankside’s first Elizabethan Playhouse.
Helm Architecture’s recent high-end residential work has been focused in West London in Notting Hill, Holland Park, Chelsea, Chiswick, Hammersmith and Marylebone and we have ongoing projects abroad and across England where we are working on a private house and a boutique hotel.
We offer the full range of Architectural Services based on the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) guidance and Plan of Work (all stages 0 to 7) which include: definition, design, procurement and construction or alternatively individual stages to suit our client’s specific requirements and budget.
Our approach is client focused, rigorous, inclusive and responsive throughout each stage and we take great pleasure from forming beautiful, thoughtful buildings and spaces with the use of light, materials and detail.
Shakespeare North Playhouse received a commendation for the MIPIM 2018 Cultural Regeneration Award.
