Project Status - Planning

Thatch House is sensitively designed to respond to its environmental and architectural context, the importance of the historical nature of Sherrington Village, the client’s requirements for their home and outdoor spaces and the aspirations to create a low energy, passive family home.

The home is split into two main forms, living, and sleeping. The forms are connected by a central connecting entrance corridor. This arrangement allows for the creation of courtyards, providing areas to extend living space externally, whilst maximising natural light and passive ventilation for the home.
