Villa in Sicily 2

This project is entirely dedicated to the landscape. The architecture of the villa is designed in order to keep a perpetual relationship with the site. The main feature is the double aspect fully glazed facades that allow the landscape to travel through the public parts of the house. This choice is driven by the orientation of the building site in relation to the sea view and the sunset and the desire to celebrate both.
The accommodation is divided into 2 volumes.
The volumes are juxtaposed and shifted to achieve maximum clarity of the flows – with the main entrance emphasised by the accentuated perspective of the diagonal walls - and privacy.
