The Learning Tree nursery, Romford

Matched via Architects.net with leading childcare and education company, Storal Learning, we were tasked with transforming a former industrial building into a new preschool facility. The brief was to create a warm, welcoming learning space using durable design and natural materials. We focused on timber, ply and rubber, using glazed partitions, timber screens, curved forms and bespoke joinery to customise the interior for the client. Creating the space in just six months and working with specific budget constraints, we are currently finalising a second setting for the same client.
