A complete renovation of a barn in an Oxfordshire Conservation Area that had been poorly converted during the 80s. We were responsible for all architecture and interior design, including some external landscaping design and facade changes, bringing order to the plan with a remodelled core and stairwell, with new windows and doors providing through-flow between the small, intimate interior spaces and the surrounding gardens.
A common design language unites each space - a blend of calm and restrained palettes, unfussy and minimal detailing and raw materiality as a nod to the building's rural past.
