New Build House in Skye

A sustainable new build house taken from concept design and planning applications right through to completion. This house was a joint architecture and interior design project, providing a full design service. The house is located on a wooded hill overlooking the estuary and Portree harbour. It is built of local stone and timber cladding, with natural lime based finishes and timber furnishings internally.

It was shortlisted for a British Institute of Interior Design Award for the Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales region.
