Our client approached us to maximise the development potential of an underutilised plot of land. We worked with the local council to gain planning permission for a luxury one-bedroom subterranean home, arranged over three levels.
The living spaces have been carefully arranged around a central lightwell, which allows natural light to flood the living spaces whilst also creating an external terrace for amenity. Through the use of micro-piles, we have managed to minimise the structural build of external walls and therefore maximise the size of the property. This scheme showcases our ability to maximise a development site and work with local authorities on challenging sites.
