Elgin House

Michaelis Boyd was appointed to work on the full refurbishment of a Victorian terraced house in Notting Hill. Our client’s aspirations were to accentuate the Victorian features whilst adding elements of Georgian and modern design.

The project scope included remodelling of the interior spaces, substantially lowering the existing lower ground floor, extensions to the rear and wing and the remodelling of the rear facade and roof.

Light was maximised inside the property where possible including the addition of a large roof light covering the entire stair wing to bring natural light down through the house.
