A particularly delicate project with plenty of constraints. The Leeds Liverpool canal, a conservation area, a site with no UDP designation and a neighbouring church with an ancient chapel were challenges we had to embrace in order to successfully deliver this project.
The first move was to frame the church’s tower, the second was to split the site in two and provide a beautiful piece of public realm. This combined with a low density, green development and well designed properties have won locals and the planners over. Due to start on site summer 2019.
