Project Status - Technical Design

Rear extension and full refurbishment of a Victorian terrace in East London. A combination of birch ply and polished concrete has created a strong interior that celebrates raw materials and honest detailing.

Our client wanted to create an extension that we not typical to the norm, and wanted to connect to the garden at all times of the year. Placing a window seat in the rear elevation, allows are client to almost sit in the garden, enjoying interrupted views year round.
