Nothing was quite right here. The bedroom on the ground floor was almost on top of the towpath and didn’t feel either restful or private. And then there was the underused roof terrace with its old, leaky conservatory. But that’s all changed. By creating a rooftop master bedroom suite where the conservatory once was, we’ve given our clients a sanctuary in the city, an elevated indoor-outdoor space which is as secluded an oasis as they could wish for.
